One day, I'll fix that

There's been three things in my bedroom-office that, for the last few months, have been bearable but noticeability irritating. The wires and extension cables that snaked all over the floor, the fen shui of the desk position that kept my back facing the door, and a sizeable gap between the in-built bedside table and the bed.

The small level of comfort I got from the thought that it was totally within my power to put these things right, essentially prevented me from actually fixing them. I slept with this every night, and I worked like this many days.

Of course, it's not ideal that my bedroom and office are the same room, especially when I'm about to start a remote job, but unfortunately I have no choice without kicking out my good friend and lodger. It also doesn't help that my bedroom is quite small and in-built wardrobes prevent flexibility in bed position.

However, after some experimentation and sorting out of what felt like a complex jigsaw puzzle, I am pleased with how the area now looks and feels.

That's all for now.
