Mountaintop to-do list

IMG-20261011-WA0011

Still in bed at midday on a Sunday. Sipping tea, browsing Bear Discover. I sensed the day would find a way to slowly turn serenity into unease if the blinds stayed closed. It was unexpectedly sunny.

So I targeted an impending departure from my train app and grabbed a lightweight backpack, throwing in a water bottle, mobile charger and repurposed school notebook that has sat idly in many drawers over the last ten years. The incline that soon followed was steep, but rewarding. Walking along the ridge, there were times when there wasn't another person in sight, and the only sound was the peaceful crunching of my footsteps on the damp surface, which I recorded.

My first ever to-do list written on a mountaintop had nine actions for the coming week. So far, two have been achieved.
