Name or nickname
My blog is called nine times. I wanted to choose something that had a semblance of meaning, but no obvious connotations, so I could easily become that name. Nothing to prescribe the content of the blog: that was to appear over time. Nothing that was already a name. As someone with "dyslexic tendencies", I wanted something short and easy to read. Nothing too overthought, so I could spend less time thinking of a name, and more time getting stuck in.
Where in the world you blog from
I don't like to explicitly spoonfeed to readers where I live, my gender, sexuality, age, job or political persuasion. I think it's a bit more fun to encourage my audience to use the powers of deduction and speculation, just as I enjoy doing when reading other blogs. Showing not telling. Let's connect as humans first, then let's see what we do or don't have in common.
What your blog is mostly about
Mundane experiences, making sense of my everyday. Opinions, but nothing too grandiose or intellectual. I try to keep it positive. I try to keep it general, so it can be enjoyed without knowing where I'm from or associated cultural references.
